Welcome to Tharfield Pet Boarding
Tharfield is a small, family run kennels and cattery set in the beautiful village of Fishbourne in West Sussex near Chichester.
Our aim is to give your pet an enjoyable stay, whilst giving you peace of mind that it will be looked after by people who really do care for your pets wellbeing.

Opening Hours
Mon - Saturday: 8am - 2pm / drop off
Mon - Saturday: 8am - 12pm / pick up
Sundays and Bank Holidays: 8am - 12pm / for drop off and pickup
Day Boarding: 8am - 6:30pm
Viewing/Tours
We always encourage new clients to come and view our facilities and to discuss their pet's requirements with us before boarding.
Viewing times are 11am - 1pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday. No appointment necessary just drop in and we'll show you around

PRICE INCREASES (From 2nd January 2025)
Cats £13 per cat, per night, less 10% if 2 or more in the same unit
Dogs £22 per dog, per night, less 10% if 2 or more in the same unit
Day Board £27, per dog, less 10% if 2 or more in the same unit (8am to 6.30pm)
Late collection up to 6:30pm will be charged at £27 per kennel
Trial night staying the same at £12 per kennel, per night.
Day Boarding
We can provide day-care for your dogs between the hours of 8am - 6:30pm. While staying during the day your dog will be given 2-3 off-lead exercises in one of our secure paddocks and food can be given if required at 4pm
Day boarding is not separate from the main kennel occupancy
and during the day your dog will be housed in one of our kennel blocks.
TRIAL NIGHT!
All NEW DOGS are required to complete an over-night trial with us prior to a longer stay. This is to ensure that they are going to be happy in the kennel environment.
You will be asked to drop off in the morning and to collect the following morning. We would expect you to be able to pick up if we thought your dog was not going to settle in to a kennel environment. Please give us a call for a chat and to arrange this.
FOR BOTH TRIAL NIGHT AND DAY BOARDING
We have agreed with the local council that we can not accommodate
dogs that constantly bark in the kennel environment
due to our residential situation.
Please bare this in mind before booking a trial night
Socialising
During your pets stay they will be housed in individual quarters
We do not socialise dogs or cats from different households together as a matter of safety, unless both owners have given prior permission.

We are closed from 1st February 2025
and reopen 1st March for our holiday
OCT / NOVEMBER 2025
We are closed from Oct 24th
and reopen 7th November for maintenance
